Writing

We want to be spoonfed news, I think.

I've been experimenting with making a personal, curated news site.

And I am not enjoying it quite frankly.

I've realized that, I unfortunately value that the editor of the New York Times carefully curated the pieces they think are important for me to read, and that I'm being spoonfed it lovingly (or maybe getting brainwashed; your thoughts on this likely depend on who you get your news from). I usually think The Times doesn't prioritize what I should be reading well, but it's mine and Joseph Kahn's way of connecting: I'm getting insight into what he cares about, and I get to start my day with an unselfish task at the get-go.
